“It’s raining INC!”~that’s how we see the first semester’s results for us 4th yr CompSci students in UP Cebu. I can’t believe that after I received my first INC, another INC came up. This time, I’m totally frustrated at the same time, really flabbergasted. Why? We never expect to receive an INC to this elective subject. He (our very good professor, I’m not joking, it’s true) posted to our yahoogroups that most of our projects in CD can’t be read so he gave us INC. And the most stupid part is that he gave our group an INC eventhough he haven’t actually opened our CD. I saw it with my two eyes, our CD was still neatly packaged when we visited him yesterday. Then he immediately opened our CD and copied the files inside it. It was like, “OMG! I’m not that dumb to be tricked like that!!!”. But then again I was speechless. I was really surprised. He gave us an INC and he didn’t even opened our project??? WTF!!! He assumed that all CDs can’t be read since most CDs he opened can’t be read. What a hasty generalization! My other groupmate’s face can’t be painted. I know she was also mad with what happened. But anyways, we don’t have a choice but to prove to him that our project was a success. It seems he can’t also use the projects’ software properly. I mean, if it wasn’t for my other classmate who taught our Prof to set the settings for the software, the projects could not have been read successfully. Anyhow, after much effort, we have proven our project’s success and then our Prof signed our removal form. Does he know how hassle it is to attend such forms? Nevertheless, I already got rid of that INC but it will always be reflected to my records.
